Bullying Awareness for Staff in Specialist Roles |
| Objectives: |
By the end of the session participants will:
- Develop an awareness of the complexities of the issue of bullying
- Understand the legal and University specific requirements for managing situations of bullying and complaints
- Clarify the role of contact staff in the resolution of complaints
- Review the principles of complaints management
- Develop skills appropriate to the role including hearing complaints and the provision of information to assist the complainant and the person accused
